I’ve been a US resident for just over a year now. My experience has been mostly fantastic. I have been told to go back to “wherever I came from” by a couple of small-minded ingrates, however they are a tiny minority so it’s like water off a duck’s back. I’m still not used to the coins. I can pick a quarter and a penny, but those nickels and dimes are still confusing!
The last two weeks, I’ve gotten a little taste of home and at the same time, gotten to see a little bit more of the US than my Vegas patch.
