Welcome to the new incarnation of my personal playground! As mentioned before, I don’t want to go in to 2012 being Unfocused, so it was time for a change. I live in Vegas, the home of dog days and I’m a pet lover with 3 precious pups of my own, so 3 Dog Days seemed fitting and hopefully a little timeless.

There’s still quite a bit of work to be done, so please watch your step. We don’t want you tripping over any paint cans or getting tangled in any packing tape! In the meantime, here’s a little bit of home for your viewing pleasure ...

I’ve decided that with for 2012, I do not want to continue being Unfocused. My resolution is for clarity.

With that in mind, I’m going to be doing a little re-branding. And, I’m likely to be switching away from WordPress and back to ExpressionEngine. I’ve enjoyed using WP and love it’s ease of use, but I find that I miss having the fine-grained control I had with EE, particularly with templating. I also miss having one central location from which to manage everything.

Anyway, I’ll keep you updated. Since I have time on my hands again, I expect I’ll be done in a week or so.

Happy New Year everybody! I hope yours has been as quiet and uneventful as ours, although we did have some excitement leading in to the holiday season (which we could’ve done without, frankly!).

Anyway, for the New Year, I’ve found a couple of new free/discounted e-books sites. They’re geared at the Kindle and/or the new Kindle Fire, but generally have links to B&N’s Nook as well.

First up is Pixel of Ink, both on Facebook and their own website. Second is Free Books For Kindle, again both on Facebook and with their own website.
